Medicaid Estate Recovery
Attorney Rosemary Howley Buhl will speak with the JAEPC group at the March meeting, giving the private practitioner's perspective on what to do when the State of Michigan seeks recovery of Medicaid benefits after a recipient of those benefits passes away.
Rosemary Howley Buhl is a shareholder with Buhl, Little, Lynwood & Harris, PLC and practices in the areas of elder law, long-term care planning, estate planning, special needs planning and estate and trust administration. Ms. Buhl is a past chairperson of the Elder Law and Disability Rights Section of the State Bar of Michigan and has served on various other boards and committees which address elder law and probate issues. She is a frequent speaker on estate planning, elder law, long-term care planning, and Medicaid eligibility.
Rosemary lives with her husband Andy, and their children in East Lansing.
