Unique assets – art, antique cars, airplanes, boats, wine, etc. – they are actually more common than you think. Creating a plan for disposing of them upon death and administering those estates, on the other hand, can be complex. Whether you are an attorney, accountant, financial advisor, or other estate planning professional, knowing how to advise clients with extraordinary assets is crucial if a client lists such assets on a financial statement or estate planning questionnaire. Our keynote speaker frequently represents clients in the areas of High Net Worth Estate Planning, Tax, and Aviation Law. Keynote Speaker: David P. Larsen is an attorney and member of Bodman PLC, practicing out of Bodman's Detroit and Ann Arbor offices. Mr. Larsen is vice chair of Bodman's Executive Committee and the senior member of the firm's High Net Worth Practice Group.
He represents individual clients and financial institutions in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, trust litigation, estate and gift tax, real estate transactions, the purchase, sale and lease of aircraft and watercraft, and closely-held business transactions and succession.
Mr. Larson has a BA, cum laude, from Alma College and a JD, cum laude, from Wake Forest Univesity Law School.
